Gillian Cole-Andrews, Director of Communications & Resource Development for People’s Self-Help Housing has recertified as one of the only 7,200 professionals around the world who hold the Certified Fund Raising Executive designation.

Individuals granted the CFRE credential have met a series of exacting standards set by CFRE International which include tenure in the profession, education, and demonstrated fundraising achievement. They have also passed a rigorous written examination testing the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of a fundraising executive, and have agreed to uphold accountability standards and the Donor Bill of Rights.

“We are very proud to have Gillian on our team,” said CEO & President Ken Trigueiro “as the certification is a voluntary achievement, it demonstrates a high level of commitment on her part to the profession, to the donors who support our work, and to the over 5,000 residents we serve.”

CFRE recipients are awarded certification for a three-year period, the designation of which is endorsed and supported by the world’s leading philanthropic associations.

“To sustain the supportive housing program at People’s Self-Help Housing and to ensure the financial operation of our 11 learning centers sees us looking to raise just over $1.7M a year,” said Gillian Cole-Andrews “I am very fortunate to be leading a wonderful team of grant writers, donor relation specialists and communications professionals, and to be working in such a philanthropic part of the Central Coast.”
