Cuyama Buckhorn is hosting an unforgettable Chuck Wagon Bar-B-Q Weekend that promises to be the ultimate season-ending celebration, October 13-15, 2023. Ben Ford, the chef behind Ford’s Filling Station and author of ‘Taming the Feast,’ will be sharing his grilling and smoking expertise by crafting a menu in collaboration with the Buckhorn team. They’ll be accompanied by Cowboy Poet Dick Gibford and live music from Sim Williams. Prior to Saturday Night’s Bar-B-Q celebration, Geoff Montgomery from Morro
Bay Butcher + Deli
is hosting a butchery class on Saturday morning, focusing on mastering meat preparation techniques and the art of breaking down a whole hog. In the afternoon, there’ll be a whiskey tasting and class with Central Coast Distillers, Rod + Hammer.
