Supporters of Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Luis Obispo County will once again dodge, duck, dip, dive – and donate – at the organization’s “Dodge for a Cause” dodgeball tournament at Avila Bay Athletic Club & Spa on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 5:30pm. The high energy event will raise critical funds for the organization’s mentorship programs, and San Luis Obispo aerospace corporation ES Aero will once again be the event’s presenting sponsor.
“In a world of pickleball and 5k’s, we’re excited to bring back Dodge for a Cause dodgeball to our sports-centered fundraising lineup this year,” Development Director Caity McCardell explained. “Our supporters come out and revisit their childhood dodgeball experiences while raising funds for children to have life-changing mentorships. Big Brothers Big Sisters offers transformative programs, and our supporters are enthusiastic about competing on the dodgeball court to support us. Attendees who want to avoid possible bruising and sore muscles can join us on the deck to watch the fun unfold below.”
