At Her Table, a local fiscally sponsored non-profit project under Ecologistics is dedicated to celebrating, educating, and uplifting women in our community, proudly announces its annual festival, set to take place from March 1st to 10th, 2024. This year, the festival will continue its mission to support and celebrate women-owned and co-owned businesses in the food, beverage and lodging industries across San Luis Obispo County by creating incredible events designed to encourage conversations and uplift the women in our lives.
Celebrate Women’s History Month with At Her Table.
Join us in celebrating Women’s History Month by supporting over 350 women-owned or co-owned restaurants and businesses and enjoying over 40 offerings. The festival promises an unforgettable experience featuring special menu items, workshops, discussions and dinners showcasing the incredible talents of chefs, winemakers, restaurateurs, entrepreneurs and more.
Some event highlights include:
- Friends of James Beard Dinner: This unique dinner experience, set against Bruce Munro’s captivating light installations at Sensorio, will feature four local women chefs who are making significant contributions to the culinary scene. The event will be led by Karson & Butler Events.
- Sober Curious Sunday: A panel about sober curious living lead by Jaime Lewis of Consumed with 5 industry leaders in the non-alcoholic space
- Izakaya Dinner: A family-style dinner by Chef Kimi Walker-Ahrens, featuring Japanese cuisine with wines from Croma Vera, High Camp, Paix Sur Terre and Thibido.
- International Women’s Day Celebration : Atascadero will be the first city in the United States to host fireworks in celebration of International Women’s Day!
- Fashion Show at The Alchemists’ Garden: Celebrating the creativity and vision of local women-owned boutiques.
- El Lenguaje De Comida: The Language of Food: An enchanting evening where the art of food becomes a universal language that transcends barriers.
- 3rd Annual At Her Table Street Fair : Showcasing over 50 vendors selling everything from clothing to food, beauty products, and home goods all made by female artisans.
