Revive Dive will be hosting a special event with the Central Coast Aquarium in Morro Bay on Saturday, September 28. They will be diving beneath the pier for an underwater cleanup event, bringing together scuba divers, environmental enthusiasts and local community members. This event aims to remove debris from the bay’s waters, preserving the marine ecosystem and protecting local wildlife.

This cleanup is part of an ongoing effort to maintain the beauty and health of the Central Coast’s waters. “This event will be a great opportunity to connect all types of ocean lovers, as well as give people an up-and-close view into the world of diving, whether they are interested in pursuing their certification or just interested in the extensive safety and mechanical procedures taken on every dive,” shares Brett Strickland, a founding member of Revive Dive.

Rooted in a commitment to environmental preservation, pier advocacy and restorative justice, Revive Dive is transforming underwater landscapes, while also providing educational and community service opportunities to at-risk youth and adults seeking opportunities.

Details: The event is on Saturday, September 28, starting at 8:00 a.m., at Morro Bay – South T Pier (1185 Embarcadero, Morro Bay, CA 93442).
