Happening the weekend of October 4th: the Central Coast Railroad Festival.
Come see visiting layouts and vendors. See the presentations, this year with an emphasis on the Pacific Coast Railway. Did you ever wonder how telegraphs work? Then visit Matt Schnittker’s telegraphy table, with a large working model where you can see it in action. Visit the 1200 sq. ft. model where you can find historic representations of local railroads.
The fun starts on FRIDAY.
If you want to support the Museum and have fun at the same time, go to the House of Bread at 1025 Farmhouse Lane, across Broad from the SLO Airport. Between 4 and 6 pm on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4th, Ken Green and Debbie Grozan will be your wonderful bartenders, with music provided by talented local musician, Eliza White. You can order great food, listen to great music, and have your beer or wine served by our excellent docents. And…half the profits go to the Museum. What could be better – fun, food, music and profits!!!
For more information on the event and how to get tickets see the San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum website linked below.
