The Cal Poly Music Department presents its 2025 Bach Week January 23 – 25. January 23 features three free events in Davidson Music Center, Room 218: an instrumental master class and continuo workshop at 11:10 a.m., a vocal master class at 3:10 p.m. and a lecture-demo, “Music for the Golden Hour,” at 7:30 p.m.

Three concerts will follow at the First Presbyterian Church of San Luis Obispo: Period instrumental ensemble Tesserae Baroque presents “Buxtehude — The Italian Influence in Northern Germany” with baritone John Buffett at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 24, and performances of the “Magnificat” finale concert with members of Cal Poly’s Chamber Choir, Symphony and faculty with guest artists will take place at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Jan. 25. Concert tickets are sold at the Cal Poly Ticket Office.
