Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo County (Habitat SLO) invites community members to its newest fundraising event, Home Sweet Home: A Brunch to Build Futures, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Lone Madrone Winery.
This heartwarming morning will feature community, conversation and a delicious brunch—all to raise critical funds for Habitat SLO’s work building and preserving affordable housing across San Luis Obispo County.
Guests will enjoy pancakes hot off the griddle, fruit, yogurt, coffee and a celebratory splash of wine. The event will also feature informative updates on Habitat SLO’s Home Preservation/Aging in Place program, which helps local seniors and families remain safe and secure in their homes.
“Home Sweet Home is a chance to connect, give back and be part of something bigger, helping local families and seniors live with dignity and remain safely in the homes they love,” said Dawn Smith, Director of Development at Habitat SLO. “Your attendance helps us serve more neighbors across our community with the stability and security they deserve.”
Discounted tickets are available for $50 through August 15. Prices increase to $60 from August 16 to October 24, and if not sold out, will be $70 at the door. Children 10 and under eat free. Space is limited; advance ticket purchase is strongly encouraged.
Early sponsors include Ashley & Vance Engineering, The Blueprinter & Graphics, Hope Lutheran Church, Idler’s Home, Lone Madrone Winery, Malik Real Estate Group, Inc., Templeton Glass and Two Knights Insurance.
