Explore the Future of Space at Vandenberg Space Force Base

Join us for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of Vandenberg Space Force Base, one of the nation’s most important gateways to space and a big driver of our regional economy. This unique experience will offer an inside look at the missions, technology and people driving America’s presence beyond our atmosphere.

The day will include:

  • Mission Briefing: Kick off the visit with a special presentation from Vandenberg Space Force Base leadership, offering insights into the base’s role in national security, satellite launches and the evolving space economy.
  • Remote Launch Control Center Visit: Step inside the nerve center where launches are coordinated and managed, and learn what it takes to put payloads into orbit.
  • Lunch and Guided Base Tour: Enjoy lunch before embarking on a guided tour of the base. Highlights include a site visit to an active launch pad, where you’ll see the place where this amazing work comes together.

This is a rare opportunity to go beyond the headlines and experience how innovation, science and strategy come together to shape the future of space and the future of the Central Coast Economy. This trip is limited to 25 attendees and will sell out quickly.

You will need to provide your personal data for security review. Unfortunately, due to the limited time for security review before the event, we will not be able to accommodate those with a temporary immigration status.

After registering, you will receive a form via email and will need to provide:

  • First name, middle initial and last name
  • REAL ID Identification Number or Passport Identification Number (Drivers’ Licenses that are not REAL IDs will not be accepted)
  • Meal choice
  • Dietary restrictions

If we do not receive this completed form by October 10, you will not be able to attend the tour.

We will be meeting at the Vandenberg Space Force Base Visitor Center at 8:45 a.m., sharp. The tour will conclude no later than 3:30 p.m.
