Cuesta College is hosting the 4th Annual Student Awareness Gallery, an interactive health-focused exhibit that is open to all students, employees and the general public. The gallery will take place at the San Luis Obispo Campus Library and the North County Campus Library and runs from October 20 – 31. The project is a collaboration between the Cuesta College Student Health Services, Cuesta College Libraries and the SLO County Behavioral Health Department.

“We are excited to host the Student Awareness Gallery at Cuesta College for its fourth year,” said Denise Fourie, Cuesta College reference librarian. “Students, classes and campus staff are all welcome to visit. We also encourage our local community to stop by during library hours for a viewing.”

The Student Awareness Gallery serves as a vital outreach tool to promote wellness and health education on campus. The interactive exhibit aims to encourage self-reflection and foster an inclusive social environment while promoting healthy lifestyles and showcasing campus and community resources and support services.

To celebrate the opening of the exhibition, a Resource Fair and free lunch are scheduled on Tuesday, October 21, at the North County Campus and Wednesday, October 22, at the San Luis Obispo Campus.

On October 22 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., the Cuesta College Affinity Center will host a student mixer at the San Luis Obispo Campus Library. This mixer will feature activities and information on Affinity Programs, including the Student Parent Support Group, Monarch Dream Center and the NextUp Program.
