The San Luis Obispo Council of Governments (SLOCOG), in partnership with Caltrans, San Luis Obispo County, City of Morro Bay, Community of Los Osos, the Morro Bay National Estuary Program (MBNEP) and California State Parks invites community members to attend a public workshop on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at El Morro Church of the Nazarene, 1480 Santa Ysabel Avenue, Los Osos.
The workshop marks the second major community event for the Morro Bay Estuary Climate Resilience Transportation Plan—a long-range effort to protect the roads, bike routes, and coastal access that connect Morro Bay and Los Osos. The plan looks ahead to 2030, 2060, and 2100, exploring conceptual, nature-based solutions that make this corridor safer, more accessible, and better prepared for long-term coastal vulnerability.
