Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast is proud to announce the launch of its year-long 60th Anniversary Celebration, marking six decades of dedicated service to youth and families across the Mid Central Coast. The celebration will officially kick off with a community Birthday Party on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 5 – 7 p.m. at the organization’s flagship clubhouse located at 901 N. Railroad Avenue in Santa Maria.

Founded in 1966, Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast has grown from a single site into a cornerstone youth-serving organization, providing 10 safe, supportive Clubs across the Central Coast where young people can learn, grow and thrive. Over the past 60 years, thousands of local youth have benefited from academic support, enrichment programs, leadership development, mental health understanding and sports programs.

The Anniversary Kickoff Birthday Party will bring together community members, alumni, supporters, elected officials and business partners to celebrate the Club’s legacy and look ahead to its future. The event will feature an opportunity to tour the Clubhouse, enjoy light refreshments and honor the 2025 honorees for the Jeremiah Milbank Society awards and the Lifetime Giving Award.

“Sixty years represents not just longevity, but impact,” said Maria Fabula, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast. “This milestone honors the generations of young people whose lives have been shaped through the Club, as well as the dedicated staff, volunteers, donors and community partners who have made this work possible. We are excited to celebrate our past while launching forward into the next chapter of service.”

Throughout 2026, BGCMCC will host a series of commemorative events and alumni spotlights designed to highlight the organization’s role in strengthening youth and families across Northern Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.

The January 13 Birthday Party is open to the public. For questions about the birthday party celebration or any of the 2026 events, contact Event Manager, Kelly Brickey at [email protected] or call (805) 354-7421.
