As workforce complexity and regulatory pressures continue to reshape the business environment, the Human Resources Association of the Central Coast is bringing regional leaders together to examine a critical leadership capability: diagnosing organizational misalignment before it impacts performance.

On March 10 at the Madonna Inn, HRCC will host “SEE IT: Strategic Planning as a Human Systems Diagnostic,” featuring Ericka Scott, Founder of Book a COO. The session positions strategic planning not as a periodic exercise, but as an ongoing leadership discipline that clarifies accountability, strengthens execution and protects culture.

Through the “See It, Plan It, Do It” framework, participants will gain structured tools to assess alignment across people, process and structure, enabling earlier intervention and stronger outcomes.

“Organizations don’t fail from lack of goals,” Scott notes. “They struggle when misalignment goes undiagnosed.”

A spotlight segment from Dr. Allison Ellis of Cal Poly’s Master of Human Resources program will further connect professional development to regional workforce readiness.

By convening this conversation, HRCC reinforces its role as the Central Coast’s leading professional association for HR and employer strategy. The organization continues to equip members with forward-thinking, practical tools that strengthen workplace resilience across industries.
