Sesloc Ribbon Cutting 2

SESLOC Federal Credit Union and guests celebrated the opening of the brand-new Broad Street headquarters with a ribbon cutting ceremony and generous gifts to a pair of family-focused community organizations.

SESLOC members and community partners purchased raffle tickets to raise $3,000 for the San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum and the YMCA of San Luis Obispo County during the credit union’s recent grand opening event. In addition, Autoland, Inc., the credit union’s auto buying service partner, contributed an additional $3,000 to the two local organizations through its credit union charitable grant program.SESLOC - Big Check

The donations are examples of SESLOC and Autoland’s commitment to the local community. The beneficiaries each share deep roots of service to generations of San Luis Obispo County families.

Opened in 1990, and transformed to “world class” status with a three-year, $5 million restoration project in 2008, the Children’s Museum hosts more than 50,000 visitors each year, many on school field trips.

For more than 50 years, the YMCA has been developing mind, body and spirit through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The organization’s programs reach nearly every area of the county.

SESLOC Federal Credit Union, with 37,000 members, 118 employees and assets of $635 million, has been serving people in San Luis Obispo County since 1942. It is a full-service financial institution with branch locations in San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Arroyo Grande, and Atascadero.

The address for the new company headquarters is 3855 Broad Street at Industrial Way.
