A Christmas Story takes the stage on December 5th for fun, festive, family entertainment
(SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA) SLO Little Theatre is proud to present their second annual special holiday production of A CHRISTMAS STORY, running December 5-20, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7 pm, Saturdays and Sundays at 2 pm and on Sunday, December 6th only at 7 pm. Based on the humorous writings of author Jean Shepherd and the motion picture of the same name, A CHRISTMAS STORY follows the wintry exploits of youngster Ralphie Parker, who spends most of his time dodging a bully and dreaming of his ideal Christmas gift: a genuine Red Ryder BB Gun. Frequently at odds with his cranky dad but comforted by his doting mother, Ralphie struggles to make it to Christmas Day with his glasses and his hopes intact. The Little Theatre production is directed by Kevin Harris, with assistance by Danielle McNamara. The talented local cast includes Daniel Freeman, Phineas Peters, Alyson Wren, Mike Mesker, Coen Carlberg, Erin Parsons, Evan Clausen, Drew VanderWeele, Edan Seaton, Sophia Lea and Eliot Peters.
