Fifty years ago, the legendary John Coltrane’s A Love Supreme was presented as the musician’s spiritual declaration. On the 50th anniversary of Coltrane’s album, the Campbell Brothers were commissioned by Lincoln Center Out of Doors and Duke Performances to revisit A Love Supreme with their signature sacred steel gospel style and church choir infusion. In addition to this homage, the Brothers will also perform beautiful selections from their traditional sacred steel repertoire.
