California Coastal Real Estate, a San Luis Obispo based real estate firm known for their consultative approach, has announced the addition of Broker Associate, Graham Updegrove, who is joining current Broker and Owner Steve Hopkins, effective immediately. In his new position, Updegrove hopes to grow his business while achieving a strong work-life balance.
“I know that I can glean a lot from Steve. I admire his work ethic, brand, and business approach and I see our partnership as a means to work more efficiently and effectively, allowing me to further achieve business goals while having more time to do the things in life that I want to do outside of work,” said Updegrove.
Originally born and raised in San Luis Obispo, Updegrove attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree focusing on Business Economics and International Relations in 2007. He later returned to his hometown to pursue real estate, earning his broker’s license in 2009.
Updegrove is involved with the San Luis Obispo Association of Realtors and was recently recognized as the 2015 Realtor of the Year. He currently sits on the SLO Association of Realtors Board of Directors and is the 2016 Treasurer/Secretary as well as the chair for the Local Government Relations Committee. Updegrove also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity of San Luis Obispo County on their Community Development Committee, is on the Board of the Central Coast Realtors Charitable Foundation, and is a member of the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce.
“Graham’s work ethic, professional nature, and customer service oriented approach make him the perfect fit for me, and my clients, should the need arise for him to step in and provide support. We have the same core values and sense of responsibility to our clientele which is hard to find. I believe that we can help each other achieve life balance, while providing twice the coverage and expertise to CCRE clients,” said Hopkins.
