This April, RISE will be hosting the 14th Annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes events! This family-friendly event creates a safe environment for survivors and supporters to raise awareness for an uncomfortable topic.
The 14th Annual San Luis Obispo Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event will be held on Saturday, April 30th in Mission Plaza from 10 AM – 1 PM, featuring live music by The Kicks. The event will feature a vendor fair, Celebrity Walkers, awareness activities, and a mile walk through downtown where supporters can carry signs and men sport high heeled shoes as a symbol of their support.
