The Women’s Business Center, hosted by Mission Community Services Corporation, located at 71 Zaca Lane has set two workshops for the month of March to be offered on Monday evenings. The free workshops will be offered from 6 to 8 pm.
On Monday, March 11, “So You Want to be an Entrepreneur” will be the topic of the two-hour workshop. The class will cover important keys to being a successful entrepreneur, proper licensing and permits, legal structure for a small business and an introduction to business planning.
On Monday, March 25, “Marketing Your Product and Services” will be featured. This introductory course will look at how one should market their business, whether retail or service. Methods looked at include advertising, public relations, cold calling and social media.
