After 22 years of providing San Luis Obispo with exceptional physical therapy and athletic training services, Creekside Physical Therapy owners Don Olson PT and Dick Gin ATC have sold the practice to Mary Ann Burke M.S. PT. Burke is the owner of North County Physical Therapy, with clinics in Paso Robles and Atascadero.
“As a Cal Poly graduate, I have always wanted to extend our practice into San Luis Obispo”, Burke said. “After many years of working and collaborating with Don and Dick, I was excited for the opportunity to move into SLO, and particularly into such a highly regarded and well established practice as Creekside PT”.
“This clinic and our clients have been a large part of our lives for over 20 years”, states Gin. “When we decided to sell, we didn’t want to sell to just anybody. We wanted to sell to someone we trusted, with local community ties, who could manage the business and continue providing the excellent care our clients deserve”.
Gin, a past athletic trainer with the San Francisco Giants, will continue to provide his services at Creekside Physical Therapy, helping to rehabilitate injured athletes from Cal Poly, Cuesta College, and local area high schools.
Creekside Physical Therapy has been a leader in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, and athletic training in San Luis Obispo since 1993. It is the only physical therapy clinic in San Luis Obispo County with an indoor rehabilitation pool. Joining North County Physical Therapy, the clinic will be proud annual supporters of the City to Sea Half Marathon, the Arthritis Foundation’s Central Coast Arthritis Walk, and Wine Country Runs Half Marathon.
Burke states, “I am honored to expand our practice into San Luis Obispo and will continue to provide the superior physical therapy and athletic training services that Creekside Physical Therapy has traditionally offered. I look forward to clinic’s evolution with our talented and diverse team of professionals”.
