Local band, Makeover, takes the stage for the second show in the 2016 Fresh Picked Concert Series at Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market.

Presented by The San Luis Obispo Collection and hosted by San Luis Obispo Downtown Association, the next show for the 2016 Fresh Picked Concert Series will be on May 5, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Another great local band, Makeover, will be lighting up the Harvest Stage in the Union Bank parking lot located at 955 Higuera Street.

Makeover is no ordinary cover band. With Adam Beck on guitar and vocals, Matt Hildenbrand on bass and vocals and Pete Ayer on drums, this eccentric trio provides a unique twist on 80’s pop covers. As such, they alter songs to have a heavy rock feel and describe their music as having hard drums, killer guitar and luscious vocals. The best part about seeing a cover band is being able to sing along with familiar tunes with friends and family. Their performance at the Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market will fall on Cinco de Mayo, and they will definitely be offering up a great space to come out and dance to enjoy the holiday.
