Inc. 5000 has been released and six San Luis Obispo County businesses have made the list.
Land Gorilla brought home the highest ranking at 230 of the 5,000 companies on the list, followed by Hathway making its third appearance in the 600’s with a 649 ranking, AM Sun Solar (712) made the list for the first time, Water Systems Consulting, (2,233) made the list for the second time and for the fifth year in a row Meathead Movers made the cut, this year at 3,234, and IQMS (3929) accepted the honor for the sixth consecutive year.
The list, put out by Inc. magazine, is an annual ranking of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the US, based on three-year growth.
- Experiencing a 603 percent, three-year growth, Hathway, a local digital marketing agency, previously made the list at 636 in 2015
and 601 in 2014. 
Founded in 2007 and making their first appearance on the Inc. 5000 in 2015, Water Systems Consulting served as project and construction manager on the project to remove the San Clemente Dam and restore the Carmel River.
Paso Robles based IQMS made the list for the sixth consecutive year and continues to produce industry leading manufacturing software. Launched in 1989, IQMS saw a 75 percent three-year growth.- Five years in a row, how’s that for consistency. Meathead Movers

play in a community, most recently with their Move to End Domestic Violence campaign. - Six-year-old construction lending software company Land Gorilla not only made the list in the low 200’s, their 1,726 percent three-year growth, put them in the top 10 construction companies on the entire list.
- Atascadero-based AM Sun Solar was also recently recognized on the Solar Power World Top 500 Solar Contractors List with a ranking of 216 out of more than 8,000 solar companies in the Nation.
