The SLO Chamber celebrated member, Spencer Makenzie’s Fish Company with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Spencer Makenzie’s started out as a fairground and festival concession trailer in May 2007. During that time, they perfected their ceviche and giant fish tacos into unique recipes. Their main goals were to offer high quality food at consumer friendly prices while providing a tastier, healthier alternative. They offer tempura hand dipped to order, use only sushi grade fish and vegetables bought from produce wholesalers. Going “Green” is very important to Spencer Makenzie’s as the 0 trans-fat cooking oil they use is turned into bio-diesel fuel for vehicles. Their plates, cups, utensils are biodegradable/compostable.
