This monthly meeting is for people who are using (or who want to learn to use) the AutoImmune Protocol (AIP) to help alleviate the symptoms of their autoimmune disease. The AIP is a highly-structured elimination diet which can help determine the foods which cause the most inflammation in an individual so that healthful living is restored. We completely avoid grains, dairy, eggs, nuts, seeds, legumes, nightshades, refined sugars, and artificial food additives, and focus on nutrient-dense foods, high-quality sleep, and reducing stress to return to optimum health. Changing our diets so drastically from the standard American diet can be very difficult, so having the emotional support of fellow AIPers can be really helpful!
