How to Paint Water and Reflections
8/5 – 8/26
Saturdays
9-12
Reflections are an important part of many landscape, seascape and still life painting compositions. Water, glass, and shiny objects all have their own way of reflecting other adjacent subjects, and learning how to handle and paint these will be the focus of this class. You will discover the fundamentals of how subjects are reflected in the various types of flowing and still water situations and also in shiny or reflective surfaces. You will learn how to approach painting the various reflections in different media, including the color mixtures necessary for painting these effects.
This is a focus class for all levels working in any water-based media and pastel, including watercolor, acrylic, gouache, water-based oils and pastel.
