Piedras Blancas Light Station’s last summertime hike and open house event is Wednesday, August 30th.

The trail head is located at the elephant seal parking area. The hike to the lighthouse is approximately 1.5 miles (one way).
We encourage people to hike at their own pace on their own schedule along the beautiful California Coastal Trail to the Piedras Blancas Light Station.
The light station will be open from 10am – 2pm with docents available to answer questions about the light house history and local ecology.
The event is free, but donations are always welcome, and our gift shop will be open.

We provide water, but no food. There is a lovely picnic area available for anyone who packs a lunch.
No smoking. No pets.
