For the first time, as part of the Soupabration! weekend experience, Pacific Wildlife Care is offering tours of its Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic. This is a rare opportunity to observe how injured or oiled animals are cared for, including the seabird room, surgery room, baby bird nursery, aviaries, aquatic habitat and pelagic pools. Tours are limited to 15 people. Each tour ends with a light refreshment: last year’s two winning soups (one is vegan), French bread, and local wines. Tours will last approximately 30 minutes. An animal ambassador and human handler will be present during the refreshment time.
Tours are $45.00 per person. Part of the tour will be outdoors, so please dress appropriately, including the possibility of rainy or windy weather. Please plan to arrive approximately 10 minutes before your tour time so your tour can start on time.
