Help Pacific Eye donate $10,000 to local non-profit organizations through its sixth annual Pacific Eye Gives Back Challenge. The challenge is all about honoring the exceptional organizations that make a positive impact on the Central Coast.
After a record number of community members (over 1,000) participated in the recent nomination phase, the following 10 organizations were selected by Pacific Eye to move on to the voting round:
- Bike SLO County
- Dana Adobe Cultural Center
- Family Care Network, Inc.
- Honor Flight Network
- Meals That Connect
- Pacific Wildlife Care
- Paso Robles Children’s Museum
- San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden
- San Luis Obispo County Womenade
- Santa Maria Valley Humane Society
Community members can vote for their charity of choice one of three ways starting Monday, October 23rd through Thanksgiving Day, November 23rd:
- Visit www.paceyemd.com
- Visit www.facebook.com/PacEyeMD
- Or, visit any Pacific Eye office on the Central Coast and fill out a written ballot at the front desk.
Participants may vote once per day for the duration of the contest. The organization with the most votes will receive a $5,000 donation; second place will receive $2,250; third place will receive $1,000. Pacific Eye will donate $250 to each of the remaining organizations in the contest.
By year-end, Pacific Eye will have donated $55,000 to local non-profits throughout San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara counties since the inaugural contest in 2012. For additional information, visit Pacific Eye’s website (www.PacEyeMD.com) or email Rob Thielscher ([email protected]).
