SLO REP presents “Rounding Third” by Richard Dresser, a hilarious and heartfelt play about baseball, fatherhood and friendship. “Rounding Third” runs Nov. 3-19, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday (Nov. 12 only) at 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m.
The tumultuous journey of two very different Little League coaches is chronicled in this hilarious and heartfelt two-man show. From their first tentative meeting, through exhilarating victories, heartbreaking defeats, interminable rain-outs and finally the climactic championship game, the two men battle over how to lead the team while sharing the ups and downs of fatherhood. “Rounding Third” is directed by Lawrence Lesher (familiar to local audiences for his
work at the Great American Melodrama) and features the talents of Timothy J. Cox and Travis Mitchell, two New York-based actors who are regional theatre regulars around the nation.
SLO REP is extremely fortunate to have them share their talents and spend some time with us on the Central Coast.
