Mission College Preparatory Catholic High School (Mission College Prep) is pleased to announce the installation of a brand-new score board for the outdoor sports field.
Mission Schools Boosters and Mission College Prep raised funds for a new LED scoreboard. The previous scoreboard had served the school well for over 20 years, but didn’t allow MCP to change it for different sports seasons and would sometimes shut off during a game.
“This takes another step in aligning our facility to reflect our recent successes athletically. Athletics at MCP is growing stronger every year and the scoreboard reflects this growth.,” said Mike Susank, Principal of Mission College Prep. “Also, it’s a demonstration to our students that they are supported and their efforts on the field are recognized by the community.”
The new LED scoreboard will allow outdoor sports (football, soccer and baseball) to have their unique sport-specific scoreboard for their games. The board even has the school’s signature “M” at its top that can be seen from several blocks away.
