Interested in picking up or working to hone your graphic design skills? Love tote bags? Then sign up for our Design your own Farmer’s Market/Springtime Tote Bag! In this class, our Graphic Arts instructor Daniel Solis will guide you through the process from design to physical, finished product.
ALL skill levels welcome!
Learn to use professional quality vector graphics software which can be used to create a wide variety of graphics including illustrations, icons, logos, diagrams, maps, and web graphics. Then we’ll use our vinyl cutting machine and heat press to finish up the job.

About the Instructor:
Daniel C. Solis focused on Art in High School, obtained a BA in Art History from UCLA and was the UCLA Sign & Design Dept. Student Supervisor. He started his own sign and graphics business, Sol Signs, and has operated that for the last 20 years. Since 2012, Daniel is currently the responsible for handling all art, installations, exhibits and graphics at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art (SLOMA). Daniel has been involved with SLO MakerSpace for years now and is excited about the opportunity to teach more people to learn to use these skills and how to use these tools.
