Woodstock’s Pizza has announced the opening of an entirely new space for customers to enjoy with The Backyard. The new offering is part of a series of renovations the local restaurant has planned ahead of its 40-year anniversary. The new outdoor-themed space features a fire element and games such as giant Jenga. Regular events will also take place throughout the summer, including Trivia, Pint nights, and more. In addition to The Backyard, the pizza eatery has also significantly expanded its beverage offering, which now includes 24 taps, kombucha, yerba mate, and wine. The main dining room will be closed for renovations until late Fall, but the kitchen will remain open and continue to serve food throughout the summer for customers to enjoy in The Backyard.
The decision to create an “outdoor space” was ultimately made to improve the customer experience for the community. “In 2020, Woodstock’s Pizza will have been in San Luis Obispo for 40 years” says Jeff Ambrose, Owner and President of Woodstock’s Pizza (www.woodstocksslo.com). “During that time, we’ve grown with the community – it’s invested in us and we want to ensure we’re investing in the restaurant. The improvements will not only maintain, but enhance the great experience and fun environment our customers enjoy when dining with us. We’re hoping the new space will deliver on that.”
