FutureFair

Future Fair 2 is an open house event that will showcase land use and circulation ideas for specific parts of the City. The public will have opportunities to provide input on which ideas should move forward in the Land Use and Circulation Elements Update process. Stop by the City – County Library Community Room 995 Palm Street between 1 and 5 p.m. this Saturday, June 1. Stay as little or as long as you like to share your ideas for the City’s future.

Hundreds of residents and business owners have been actively involved in this process. Now, the City is asking people to help narrow down all the great ideas and prioritize which places should be focused on in the future.

More than forty potential sites scattered throughout the City were identified as areas to re-imagine over the course of the outreach effort. This process includes a look at potential land use adjustments and circulation changes that could result in adjustments to the existing General Plan. You can see a preview of the ideas in the Alternatives Newsletter here.
