Why do the same plants suffer on one side of my yard, but flourish on the other? Why are the leaves turning yellow? How can I make a plant grow faster? For the answer to these and other mystifying plant growth questions, join us in the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden’s Oak Glen Pavilion on Saturday, July 27 at 1 PM for a presentation titled ‘Plant Physiology- Discover the Mysteries of Plant Growth and Development’ by Garden volunteer and docent Don Gruenewald. Don will identify the internal processes of plants and how environmental factors affect those processes, with the intent of helping you select the right plant for a site and to discern problems as they arise.
