SLO Classical Academy will host William Deresiewicz, an award-winning essayist and critic, a frequent college speaker, and the best-selling author of Excellent Sheep: The Miseducation of the American Elite and the Way to a Meaningful Life on Thursday, March 7th.
As a professor at Yale, William Deresiewicz saw something that troubled him deeply. Some of the nation’s brightest minds were adrift when it came to thinking critically and creatively and finding a sense of purpose. Deresiewicz offers an alternative viewpoint that places value on education and individual development. Join us at the CPAC at Cuesta College to hear his perspective on education in America.
