Course Instructor: Nancy Dwyer

An early childhood education course designed for teachers and parents of children ages 5-7.  Lecture-demonstrations show specific Montessori curriculum materials for helping children build a strong foundation for math and language. The math component presents materials for understanding our number system and the processes of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, as well as mastering math facts, factors and multiples and fractions. The language component presents materials for developing reading comprehension, and an understanding of grammar and writing style.
