The community is invited to attend the 15th Annual Wellness Fair on Wednesday, October 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event showcases health, finance, leisure, fitness, personal safety, and business services for adults over the age of 50. Admission is free.
Some of the offerings available to Wellness Fair attendees include free health screenings by Dignity Health, free breakfast burritos provided by the 5 Cities Men’s Club, giveaway items, prizes, live music, and a blood drive by Vitalant. Donors will receive a voucher for a free pint of Doc Burnstein’s ice cream for a pint of blood donated.
South County Chambers of Commerce is hosting the Wellness Fair at the South County Regional Center located at 800 West Branch St. in Arroyo Grande. This event is sponsored by Dignity Health/Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, Merrill Gardens, and 5 Cities Men’s Club.
