The Hearst Cancer Resource Center (HCRC) at French Hospital Medical Center is offering a lecture to educate the community about prostate cancer on Thursday, September 19, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the French Hospital Medical Center Auditorium, located at 1911 Johnson Ave.
Local experts will be discussing a variety of topics related to the disease including prevention, diagnosis, treatment and intimacy. Featured speakers will include: Michael deWit Clayton M.D., board certified urologist, covering “What is Expected after a Cancer Diagnosis” and Ly-Lan Lofgren, LCSW, AASECT certified sex therapist on “Intimacy and Cancer.” The forum aims to educate the public about prostate cancer and making informed decisions about maintaining prostate health.
