Eureka! and Russian River are giving all another reason to love the month of February. The all-American restaurant is hosting a week filled with nothing but Russian River Brewing craft beers. Eureka! is committed to providing the most sought-after craft beers from local breweries to their guests. From Monday, February 24 to Friday, February 28, there is the perfect craft beer on tap waiting to be enjoyed.
Kicking off the week, Eureka! will be tapping Russian River’s infamous and well-balanced 7% Double India Pale Ale Pliny The Elder. For guests stopping by on Monday, February 24, be sure to pair Pliny The Elder with Eureka!’s Bison Burger which is topped with bacon-infused jalapeño jam, charbroiled tri-color peppers, grilled red onion, and smoked mozzarella.
On Tuesday, February 25th, starting at 3pm, Eureka! has pulled out all the stops and is tapping the special release of Pliny the Younger. This special occasion is a ticket required event. For just $13, purchasers will secure their 9oz. pour of the highly coveted Pliny the Younger while giving back to the Santa Barbara community. Being a part of the local community is integral to Eureka!’s ethos and the all-American restaurant will be donating $5 from each ticket purchase to the American Cancer Society. Make it a meal to remember and pair Pliny the Younger with the Bone Marrow Burger topped with shiitake bone marrow butter, charbroiled onion, mustard aioli, and roasted Roma tomato. Aside from this ticketed tapping, guests will also be able to enjoy the refreshing Happy Hops, an incredibly hoppy Indian Pale Ale with an immense hop aroma and flavor with a mild bitterness.
Eureka! is committed to providing one-of-a-kind dining experiences to guests. Their weekly experiential Steal the Glass program showcases their elevated craft beer program which features craft beers from local microbreweries. On Wednesday, February 26 starting at 6pm when guests order Russian River’s full-bodied 6.25% India Pale Ale, Blind Pig they will also get to take home the special glassware. Glassware is limited and these are sure to be a huge hit. For a mouthwatering burger pairing, spicy it up with the Jalapeño Egg Burger topped with a fried egg, cheddar, bacon, chipotle sauce, and pickled jalapeños.
Carrying out the special tappings through the week on Thursday, February 27 guests will be able to enjoy the 4.8%, 100% Brett Fermented, Sanctification. This unique beer recipe starts with the base of a Golden Ale but is then primarily fermented with 100% brettanomyces and is best enjoyed with the Veggie Beet Burger, housemade red beet and kidney bean patty, house pickles, tomato, red onion, arugula, and lemon vinaigrette.
Finishing off the week of Eureka! x Russian River is the hop forward 5.3% Pilsner, STS Pilsner. This unfiltered Pilsner pairs really well with the Blackened Fish Tacos featuring sautéed white fish, avocado tomatillo, radish, cabbage, and mango salsa.
