Powell’s Sweet Shoppe is the official sponsor of the Big Brothers Big Sisters candy stand at Winter Wonder SLO Jiffy Lube Ice Skating Rink.
Powell’s Sweet Shoppe has generously donated $2,300 of candy that will be sold throughout the 18-day event.
“Powell’s support allows us to ensure child safety and sustain successful long-term relationships with positive outcomes,” Big Brothers Big Sisters Executive Director Anna Boyd-Bucy said. “Every dollar goes directly to our programs serving youth in San Luis Obispo County.”
The second annual Winter Wonder SLO Jiffy Lube Ice Skating Rink starts December 19 and runs every day through January 5 at the Madonna Expo Center. Come out with family and friends to enjoy ice skating, and don’t forget to stop by the candy stand for all things sweet from Powell’s Sweet Shoppe. Big Brothers Big Sisters is grateful for the Powell’s donation and hope that the community will support them by shopping at their permanent locations in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles for their holiday treats.
