On January 10, 2014 Family Care Network, Inc. (FCNI) will host an official Grand Opening of their new agency headquarters and conference center at 1255 Kendall Road, San Luis Obispo from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
FCNI has served the community for the last 26 years and is the largest private, nonprofit children and families services provider on the Central Coast.
The formal ribbon cutting with the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce will take place at 4 p.m. and will include a brief ceremony with community leaders such as Supervisor Adam Hill and Assemblyman Katcho Achadjian. From 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. there will be an Open House with guided tours of the new facility as well as refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.
The new agency headquarters has been years in the making and is a significant milestone for FCNI. Its existence provides stability and allows FCNI to enhance the lives of children and families affected by trauma in the community for many more years.
“For over two decades, we have had a strategic goal to own our own administrative building in order to reduce our facility costs and hedge against future rent increases, and with the help of our generous community, this has finally happened,” said CEO and Founder of FCNI, Jim Roberts. “I want to personally invite the community to be part of our ribbon cutting and Grand Opening celebration. There are so many generous people in our community that have been great friends and partners to our organization and we want the community to enjoy this monumental event with us.”
