SLO Cider Co is teaming up with Woods Humane Society this Sunday, July 25 and donating 50 percent of their sales directly to Woods. This event will take place from 12:00-9:00 p.m. at the San Luis Obispo tasting room which is located off of Broad St. in the industrial area of San Luis Obispo. There will be food available from SLO’s Finest Catering paired with tasty cider flowing all day long. Bring your four legged furry friend and enjoy a day full of dogs, food and the best cider in town!

“We are grateful for the support of SLO Cider Co,” said Neil Trent, CEO of Woods Humane Society. “This event and their partnership will improve the lives of homeless animals in our community – something we can all raise a glass to.”

SLO Cider is officially entering its second year of business, and as the strict guidelines to the pandemic start to lift, SLO Cider remains determined in providing the San Luis Obispo community with great cider and a positive community presence as often as possible.

“Our pets were there for us during the pandemic and we want to return the favor,” said Nate Adamski, operations manager at SLO Cider. “San Luis Obispo as a community is super important to us. It’s not just our namesake, it’s where we live, where we grew up. Giving a little back is our way of saying thank you for everything you’ve done for us and who you made us.”

Founded in 1955, Woods Humane Society is a privately funded, non-profit, animal sheltering and welfare organization that annually places more than 3,000 dogs and cats into loving homes.
