Vespera & Cal Poly Astronomical Society Stargazing Event

Vespera Resort on Pismo Beach, Starlight Lawn

Two hour stargazing events will be hosted by Vespera Resort and lead by members of the Cal Poly Astronomical Society on the night of the New Moon in November and December when viewing is optimum.

PLEASE NOTE:    Inclement weather will cause the events to be postponed.

Hotel guests and the local community will be invited to attend

(10) members/students of the Cal Poly Astronomical Society will be on hand with Four Telescopes offering viewings and specific information on what is being seen.

In addition, we also recommend that attendees download the SkyView APP available for both iPhone and Android. This app, when pointed to the night sky, will immediately identify the object or constellation viewed.

Signature Stargazing cocktails will be served at the Blend Bar.
