San Luis Obispo’s favorite dog park is getting a makeover soon and community members can help identify the newest upgrades.
Community members can take an online survey by June 30, 2022 to help rank proposed amenities, services, and hours of operation of Laguna Lake Dog Park.
To help build and connect community, the City will improve the current facility. These upgrades are guided by the City’s Parks + Recreation Blueprint for the Future, a 20-year plan for public parks facilities and recreation services in San Luis Obispo.
Located in Laguna Lake Park at 504 Madonna Road, Laguna Lake Dog Park is currently the only unfenced, off-leash dog park in the City of San Luis Obispo. The City does not currently have a fenced dog park. When creating the blueprint, the community identified dog parks as a near-term priority with strong support for improvements to the existing off-leash dog area at Laguna Lake Park.
