Friday, October 28 is National Chocolate Day, and Mama Ganache Artisan Chocolates is unveiling their newly remodeled storefront at 1445 Monterey Street with an all-day celebration of everything chocolate.

Community members are encouraged to stop by the store and enjoy free samples of Mama Ganache’s high-quality, ethically sourced chocolate truffles and treats while enjoying the new space. Chocolate is made in-house and each piece is made by hand.

“We have been working hard to make the new space look and feel fresh, while retaining the same Mama Ganache charm the community knows and loves,” said Ben Taylor, Mama Ganache owner and chef. “All of our products are handmade in this space, and we want it to feel welcoming and exciting for shoppers buying ethically sourced chocolate and choosing to spend money at a local establishment rather than an online retailer.”

The all-day National Chocolate Day celebration will go from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., with a ribbon cutting with the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce taking place at 4:30 p.m. Guests can stop by to see the space, shop for Halloween candy, taste different chocolates and can be entered to win exciting prizes.
