Hotel San Luis Obispo, a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of San Luis Obispo’s vibrant downtown, is pleased to announce details for its inaugural “Autumn Soirée 2022: The SLO Way” wine and food festival, to be held in celebration of the region’s winemakers and harvest bounty on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 5- 8 pm at the property’s Garden Courtyard.

The event will include tastings from several of the Central Coast’s most acclaimed wineries paired with delectable creations courtesy of Executive Chef Ryan Fancher and his team from the property’s two onsite restaurants, the Michelin-recognized modern steakhouse, Ox + Anchor, and Piadina, which offers a California take on Italian cuisine. The elegant affair will also include delicious bites from San Luis Obispo’s top eateries including Novo and Granada Bistro, Ember in Arroyo Grande and fine purveyors, plus live music, unique interactive art installations, a wine wall, and prize drawings that include special wine collections and one-of-a-kind travel experiences.

Autumn Soirée 2022: The SLO Way” participating wineries include Adelaida, Barton Family Wines, CADRE CASS Winery, Center of Effort, Colori Wines, Cromavera, DAOU, Des Par Ada, Epoch Estate Wines, Hearst Ranch Winery, Hermon Story, Laetitia, McPrice Myers, Talley Vineyards and Union Sacré. Participating restaurants and purveyors include Breda Pasticceria & Cioccolateria, Center of Effort, Central Coast Creamery, Earth and Oven, Ember, Granada Hotel & Bistro, Mellow Land and Cattle, NOVO, Ox + Anchor and Piadina.

Following the event, guests are invited to mingle with the chefs and winemakers at an after-party featuring cocktails and bar snacks courtesy of Nosotros Tequila & Mezcal, Piadina and Ohana Bros. Island Style Snack Company. The after-party will be held at Hotel SLO’s S. Low Bar lounge.

Proceeds from the event benefit the French Hospital Hearst Cancer Resource Center in honor of Jim Copeland, Hotel SLO’s Uncork Potential Scholarship Fund (Cal Poly), SLO Food Bank, and the Fund for Vineyard and Farm Workers.
