College Corps Fellows from across the State have been placed in community-based organizations working on education, climate action, and food insecurity. As part of their 450 hours of service, Fellows earn $10,000.
SLO Climate Coalition is hosting 26 Cal Poly College Corps Fellows for the 2022-2023 school year. These students are participating in four of our projects:
Green Transportation – working to increase the use of electric vehicles, electric bikes, and other e-mobility options and ensure equitable and affordable access
Uniting the Central Coast for Action – regional educational and advocacy action in partnership with organizations in the five counties served by Central Coast Community Energy
Resilient SLO Challenge – a grassroots based program helping the community take everyday climate action (resilientslo.org)
Communications – outreach and education within SLO County and beyond
