Alfano Motorcars, which in the spring of 2012 purchased the former Kimball Motors, is moving ahead with plans to improve its location at 1423 Calle Joaquin. The Mercedes Benz dealership recently got approval from the SLO City Architectural Review Commission to remodel the front of the northern showroom and add approximately 1,800 square feet to the building, including new canopies and large storefront windows. ARC approval was required due to the location’s high visibility from Highway 101.
