Callahan Heart Safe Project celebrated the installation of an Automated External Defibrillator at the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center with a special ribbon cutting ceremony.

The Callahan Heart Safe Project is to establish awareness, education and immediate access to Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s) throughout the community, so that San Luis Obispo is a Heart Safe County and City.

The John W. Callahan Heart Safe Project has been established to provide the local communities with these life saving devices. The generous donation of four AED’s donated in John’s memory by Sierra Vista Medical Center and French Hospital has been instrumental in seeing this project come to fruition.
