About this week’s guest:

John Townsend has served as Executive Director at the Cal Poly Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship since 2019. With an impressive background in business and consulting spanning nearly 40 years, he has held several positions from Senior Manager at Anderson Consulting to Director of Corporate Services at Islands Restaurants to Vice President of Information Technology at Real Mex Restaurants. Since 2016, he has served as an entrepreneurship lecturer for the Cal Poly Orfalea College of Business. Townsend holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in Information Systems from Cal Poly.
